Events For: All
Friday, 12 September 2025

This October, Mandurah is celebrating Mental Health Week (4-11 October) with a bunch of fun and helpful activities for everyone. This year’s theme is “Empowering Communities, Thriving Workforces,” and it’s all about power. The power to take charge of your own mental health and recovery, the power to find purpose and connection through meaningful work, and the power to support others in our community to stay mentally healthy. Let’s grow our understanding of how mental health, employment and community all work together.

Why Mental Health Matters

Everyone has ups and downs. It’s okay to ask for help or take a break when you need it. Try these simple ideas:

  • Spend time with family and friends.
  • Be active! Go for a walk, dance, or play a game.
  • Take a moment to relax or do something creative.
  • Reach out if you need support. There are people and services ready to help.
